Hi, my name is Lauren Ward and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. I earned my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2017 and my bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2012.

I have extensive experience working with families of young children, supporting parents in navigating common challenges during the early years of development. I also work with women facing a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, and maternal mental health issues.

My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and family systems therapy, all through a trauma-informed lens. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. My goal is to help clients build confidence, develop new skills, and experience meaningful growth throughout their counseling journey.
